We take a little extra time, because it's worth it.
There's a lot to a good eye test. We want to find out how your glasses and contact lenses fit into your life, and where we can make things better. We also want to make sure we catch any potential issues before they cause bigger problems. That's why our eye tests usually last around 45 minutes, noticeably longer than the industry standard.

So helpful very informative with regards to my eyesight which is not good due to wet macular in my left eye and dry in the right .They discovered the macular in the left eye had changed to wet and sought me urgent eye treatment at the eye clinic in York thanks to them I have not lost my sight .I highly recommend them they will look after your sight
Whilst staying in York for the weekend my Husband's Glasses broke, we popped in Bayfields whilst passing and they managed to repair them for him. Very thankful and the lady that served us was very helpful and polite. We were happy to pay but there was no charge.
Been with these guys for years and today again they went well over and above my expectations. They always look after you with great personal service. So important for your sight!
