Optical Assistant

£26k per annum (pro rata for part time hours)
We are looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join our amazing team in our Gloucester Road practice for 4 days / 32 hours per week (Monday to Saturday 9:30am - 6pm; ideally to include Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturdays but we can be flexible and consider alternate weekends).

When you join our Gloucester Road practice as the Optical Assistant, you are joining a practice who are passionate about the services we provide our clients so you will be the first point of contact for anyone visiting or contacting the practice. We want you to greet our clients in person as they arrive, or over the phone with a smile to make them feel valued and you will listen and understand their needs before taking ownership of their query. You will work closely with the Practice Manager, Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians to determine the best solutions for our clients and focus on delivering obsessively great service at every step in the client journey. We need an experienced Optical Assistant as this is a very busy practice and would like somebody with excellent IT skills and want you to have excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to build strong relationships with your team members, peers, and clients.
