Our thorough eye tests last around 45 minutes and include retinal photography as standard. Did you know that besides supposedly being ‘a window onto the soul’, the eye can also be an indicator of aspects of your general health? Our eye tests can pick up any problems with your eye but also with your wider health; a burst blood vessel you didn’t know about, for example, could be a sign of high blood pressure. Minor eye conditions service If you develop a minor but irritating problem with your eyes, we’ll be happy to take a look – and this is a free NHS service. So if your eyes suddenly feel sore or sticky, or you see flashing lights or a veil over your vision, you could be assessed and treated by us. If you need to be referred elsewhere, we can advise you. What about your hearing? Whether you know you have problems with your hearing or were just wanting to get checked, why not ask for an audiology appointment with us? We offer free hearing tests, that usually last around 15 minutes. How to find us We’re in Market Place, just a few yards from the Butter Market.
